Being a trial lawyer entails complex thinking and analysis of the law. One of Marshall Tuttle's many strengths is the ability to analyze every issue from multiple perspectives and then communicate his thoughts in a way that's easy to understand. It's how he gains trust from clients he's representing -- and juries he's presenting to.
Marshall primarily practices in civil litigation and workers’ compensation and has successfully defended his clients in all phases of litigation, including trial.
Notable career achievements:
Before joining Peddicord Wharton, Marshall obtained his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School, where he graduated with honors. While in law school, Marshall was the Student Bar Association President and was selected by the law school faculty as the Timothy Carlucci award recipient, which is given to the law student who best exemplifies civility and professionalism in his or her dealings with fellow students and others in the profession. Marshall was also selected by his graduating law school class as the Martin Tollefson award recipient, which is the highest form of recognition for leadership and service contributions to Drake Law School.
Marshall obtained his bachelor's degree from Morningside College, where he was a member of the football team. He was selected as Great Plains Athletic
Conference Player of the Year and was a semi-finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy. He was also selected as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete
and to the ESPN Academic All District Team.
On a personal note:
When he is not defending his clients, Marshall is spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys playing golf, hockey, and cheering on the
Iowa Hawkeyes.
