Kayli has always known she wanted to be an attorney, even back to middle school. She’s especially proud to serve as a counselor with drive and empathy in assisting clients during troubling times. Kayli joined Peddicord Wharton as an Associate Attorney in 2020, and works with clients in the areas of workers' compensation, litigation, and personal injury. She assists in steering clients in the right direction for their case, whether through mediation or litigation.
Prior to graduation from law school, Kayli clerked at a Des Moines criminal defense law firm. While at Drake Law School, Kayli was a Note Editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, a member of the ABA Negotiations Competition Team, and a Student Attorney for the Drake Legal Clinic Middleton Center for Children’s Rights. She received the Marsha Ternus Outstanding Child Advocate Award for her work in the Legal Clinic (2019-2020).
