Jordan R. Gehlhaar

The best lawyers are personable, analytical, and zealous; Jordan embodies each of these traits in her work. Jordan graduated from Drake University Law School in 2022 with highest honors, earning a Certificate in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She is a member of the Order of the Coif, a national honor society comprised of individuals ranked in the top ten percent of their graduating class. Jordan joined Peddicord Wharton in 2019 as a law clerk, gaining years of hands-on experience in each of our practice areas prior to becoming an attorney. Today she assists clients in workers’ compensation, litigation, and personal injury matters.

While at Drake Law School, Jordan was an Editor of the Drake Law Review, Captain of the National Moot Court Team, and Research Assistant for the Iowa Practice Series on Evidence. As a student attorney in the criminal defense clinic, she received a complete dismissal for a client on the verge of jury trial. She was awarded membership in the National Order of the Barristers for her outstanding skills in oral and written advocacy. For example, Jordan received an outstanding brief award in a moot court competition and has presented oral arguments before a panel of federal judges and before the Iowa Supreme Court.

On a Personal Note

Outside of the office, Jordan spends her time with friends and family, her significant other, and their dog Charlie. She enjoys yoga, volleyball, reading, and spending time outside.
