Biography:
The idea to become a lawyer came to Dale Peddicord when he was shoveling snow for a neighbor attorney named John Blanchard. John encouraged Dale to pursue a legal education and at 11 years old, Dale firmly announced that he would become a lawyer.
After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he did just that. He started the PeddicordWharton firm in 1964 as a one-man show and has watched it evolve over the years into one of the preeminent law firms in the state. He says "to be associated with 13 very bright and hard working attorneys and a highly qualified support staff is a great honor."
Dale specializes in litigation involving aviation, motor vehicle, products liability, medical and professional negligence and other negligence matters. Dale enjoys being an attorney because he loves solving problems and offering support to people in need. He also enjoys the study of law because at heart, he is an educator. He believes an effective trial lawyer must be an educator in the trial process. Dale says that PeddicordWharton cares for its clients by being responsive. We treat them like we would want to be treated as clients. We go the extra mile, if not two, when dealing with our clients and our clients' legal concerns. Because we are attentive and work hard on our clients' behalf, we deliver excellent results.
Dale loves to golf, read and take part in bar organization activities and civic matters. He is an active member of Grace United Methodist Church and has served in numerous positions and chairmanships within the church. He also enjoys spending personal time with friends, his wife and family.
