Biography:
Scott Beattie entered the field of law because he wanted to help people. Oftentimes, when a person is injured or sued, they find themselves not knowing where to turn. He wanted to ensure that people were well cared for during this critical time. Scott’s specialty is civil litigation including personal injury, employment, civil rights, workers’ compensation and products matters. PeddicordWharton, Scott feels, is unique in that it is a small firm with vast experience in the representation of businesses and individuals. This allows us the opportunity to provide our clients with the best possible representation along with personal service. Another attribute he appreciates is that PeddicordWharton attorneys strive to be responsive and cost effective in their representation. Scott also loves the fact that PeddicordWharton is small enough to consider itself a family and his co-workers friends. Away from his desk, Scott spends much of his time enjoying his wife and raising their three boys. When he is not at his kids’ sporting events, you might find him cycling, running or training his dog, Ted. Scott’s family is very involved in his local church and spends significant time each year doing international medical relief work.
